While farmers know the value of scouting their crop, few actually have the time or funds to cover the areas on foot. By seeing their crop through the eyes of infrared imaging, they can see poor nutrition, possible insect infestation, and possible water logging; as well as seeing their fields from a very different perspective so they can rectify problems a lot sooner, rather than later.
